How to Find a Device Key

The Device Key (or Device ID) of any device connected to your Overlay.live dashboard can be checked from the Device inspector.

To find the key of a device:

1.  Select the device from the sidebar. This will open Device Inspector.
2. In Device Inspector the device ID field will be visible as a non-modifiable text field.

You can still select the Device Key with your mouse and copy and paste it to wherever needed.

Note: The Device key is fixed. Once set, it can’t be modified or changed. The only way to reset a Device Key is to delete the device and re-install it.
