How to Change the Name of a Device

Changing a device name is simple and does not affect the functionality of a device. It can be done when the device is either online or offline.

To change the name of a Device you must first be logged in to the overlay.live dashboard. From there, in the side bar you have two options:

1. Double click the device to rename it, the name field will appear as editable, or
2. Click once on the device to open the device inspector. In the inspector, rename the device from the Device name field and save changes.

Note: The same principle applies to Overlays.
