ROG_EXT

The ROG_EXT is a clip-on device designed by ElmorLabs. It is designed to work with most ASUS ROG motherboards out there. The ROG_EXT connects on the ROG_EXT pin section of compatible ROG motherboards, effectively replacing the ASUS OC Panel.
The ROG_EXT on the other end can be via I2C bus to either the TeVo X2 hat or the RaspberryPi itself. With the ROG_EXT you are able to stream to Overlay.live read-outs from the following motherboard sensors in real time:
- Boot Code
- BCLK
- CPU ratio
- CPU Frequency (calculated)
- Vcore
- CPU cache ratio
- Temperature 1
- Temperature 2
- V1
- V2
- DRAM voltage
Ultimately, the ROG_EXT allows also writing to the motherboard registries and controlling some of it’s functions such as boot up, reset as well as overclocking. We are working presently on an APP to enable these features. Stay tuned!
