MasterWatt Maker

The MasterWatt maker series of power supplies by Cooler Master are high end models that come with a monitoring feature over bluetooth and a paired smartphone app.
During the summer 2017, we (Overlay.live) worked with Cooler Master to develop a standard library for anyone to be able to read from the power supply through the pins at the back and thus enable monitoring for all without hardware lock.
From this was born the managed device support for this series of PSUs on the Overlay.live platform. With it, users can connect their PSU to a RaspberryPi and monitor all read-outs form the power supply.
