How to Add Sensors to an Overlay
Overlays can be customized with a variety of sensors. You can load multiple sensors simultaneously on an Overlay, and besides the available display space, there is no limit to how many you can load.
Ultimately the location of a sensor on the Overlay won’t matter since you can precisely place and scale the rendered visual later in your video production application. Nevertheless, we do provide users with a 1920 x 1080 overlay area.
Step 1: Login to the Dashboard
Head over to the http://my.overlay.live page and login with your account credentials.
Step 2: Select the Overlay you wish to configure
In the sidebar on the left side of the Dashboard click on the Overlay that you wish to add a sensor to. This will open the Overlay inspector with the green overlay preview area.
Step 3: Select a sensor from the Sensor menu
At the top of the Overlay inspector there is a Sensor menu. In this menu, you will find a list of all the sensors registered by your devices. (regardless of whether the device is online or offline). Select the sensor you wish to add.
Note: You can then double click onto the sensor box in the green preview area to adjust simple settings such as font type, font color, background color, etc.
